Educational Institutions
NWS designs systems to accommodate the specialized communications needs of leading academic institutions. We work with colleges, universities and academies, large or small, public or private, teaching or research driven.

NWS has designed systems to accommodate the communications needs of schools including Harvard, MIT, Dartmouth, and the United States Military Academy (West Point). Additionally NWS continues to service systems at Princeton, Columbia, and many other institutions in the U.S.

NWS implements systems used by foreign language labs, international business concerns, and government agencies to receive international television broadcasts from over 35 different countries.

We have been designing, installing, and maintaining large distance learning and private cable networks since 1984, and we pride ourselves on innovative solutions. NWS built and continues to maintain the largest private cable network in New England at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and designed and built the first Optical Fiber to Coaxial Feeder Video Distribution Network used in a college campus environment at Providence College, Providence, Rhode Island.
